Carlos is a former faculty member at the Berklee College of Music City Music Program, the New England Conservatory of Music Preparatory School, the Concord Conservatory of Music in Concord, MA, and the Joy of Music Program in Worcester, MA. He has he taught private classes and workshops both in the U.S. and internationally. Such as UNAM in Mexico City, Beaver Country Day School in Chestnut Hill, MA; Havana International Jazz Festival; Northeastern University Music Summer Program; Broward International School of Music in South Florida; Escuela de Músicos in Galicia and Escuela Estudio in Santiago de Compostela, Spain.
Carlos offers private instructions, master classes, workshops and ensemble classes on Afro-Cuban Latin Jazz, Jazz, and classical Woodwind instruments. He welcomes students of all levels from beginners to advanced and professional levels, while customizing each lesson for solid progress for all his students.
He is a strong believer in the power of music education and its beneficial impact on humanity. To serve society through teaching and to encourage creativity and cultural development is, for Carlos, a privilege and an honor.
